Piggy's Plungin

It was all a bunch of hogwash.
We had noo idea what we were getting ourselves into.

Manure.

Ok, ok, maybe not manure. But who really knows.
It was just dirty dashing, pig, & SOUTA lovin mud.

It all started with Amy's car. But not quite.
So, I was waiting in a parking lot to get picked up by the racing crew. Aim said they were pulling in. So I got out of my car, watched them pull in to a parking spot, and walked to the back door. I opened it, saw a baby car seat and chirped "EEEEEEE!!" (because that is what I call my nephew Easton, who was supposed to be in that carseat)
I scared the living daylights out of that poor, random family.
So I started apologizing and explaining that my sister has the exact same white car and oops, oops, oops, have a great day..... when I slammed the door, turn to see my real sisters pulling in (in a black, totally different car) and I jumped in the right one.
Okay, take two, let's try this again.
We were all a bit concerned that we didn't quite know how to get to the race, but OH SO thankfully, shandi had made a map. So we bring it out. You guys :) Shandi had drawn a treasure map of real necessities such as: where the vendors at the location were going to be, the snack area, and showers.
Not to mention the map was completely wet and torn all over. hahaha, so awesome.
Mishaps like these took place every 5 minutes until the race started :) That's why we have so much stinkin fun together.

So, on to the dirty details. It was the most fun day I've ever really had with my sisters I think! We were nasty. Holding nothing back, literally swimming in the oopy goopy stuff. We laughed the entire way. For each obstacle course it was a bit backed up, so kinda a long wait in line. So we would just squeezie our lil' ways up there and walaa. We were dirty dashin again. Seriously felt like piggys. As we approached one of the backed up lines we didn't even have to discuss our game plan, we were headed to the front. We went bounding down the water slide as joyful as farm animals and went running across the finish line.
The finish line?
We basically just started this fiasco.
This is wrong.
Strike 10.
So, much to the confusion of the little, proud, cheering crowd there (and our husbands), we turned around and went sprinting back to really finish the race. We accidentally cut out about half of the thing!!  We got to finish twice. Back to back champions.

Thanks to Shand, we had to swim under all these pipes, which was not necessary but soo much more fun. As we came up absolutely covered and eyes closed, I think we all imagined these brown bodies with a white looking smile... But once I smeared the mud on my eyes away with more mud, I realized...black. Through and through. Crunching, swallowing, loving every grain.
We did rightly cross the finished line and ended bottoms up, face down in the mud :)
And then we had hand stand contests, ha.
Everyone is welcome to join us for next year!!
You guys, it was so much fun and it's an annual shabang now so plan on it!

It truly was magical for us, kinda a dream come true. :)

Thanks to Amy, our creative mastermind. We were Katniss.

May the odds be ever in our favor.

 Don't mess
Okay you can

The mud had a mind of it's own. found it's way into every nook and cranny.

We love you daddio! That's him in the background :) So much fun, and we are 100% getting our husby's to be Peeta for the next games.
May the odds be ever in your favor.

Oh you are looking at one happy little camper! It’s been crazy wild over here with so much fun stuff. At first I was thinkin’ that I could split these fun events up into like 7 posts… but no thanks. Love them to ever!
A big ol' crazy group of my best friends.
Best cheerleaders, hysterical comedians, escapade adventurers: my family!
Josh, my biggest bro, (Crystal, Elliott, Solomon, Eisley) came into town from North Carolina and so we all dropped... basically everything to play. We have so much fun together. The 7 Souter's turn back into a bunch of 10 year olds when we are together, and the in laws are startin to shed away the years too. Matt just can't help it. ha. It was my favorite thing for the whole group to play kick ball in the back yard (parents included) for hours. And I'm talking like a few weeks ago. Play dough contests. Pizza making contests. Arm wrestling. Jump rope. haha good times.
This occasion was especially neat because little Eisley was blessed here. Oooo I am so thankful for my family. Even though I may be whoopin them in some competitions... they are still my role models. My most powerful examples. I still watch their every move with admiration and look up to them through my little kid eyes.. and see that they are my heros! (Literally looking up. Last week we measured everyone at dinner. ) But I just love hearing their insights and wisdom, how intertwined their lives are with the gospel. They live it to it's fullest and have the glow to show it :) They are inspiring. I love watching how they cherish their families and their testimonies. And for the 2 younger than me, no worries. I look up to you too.
So here is an exciting family pic because there are a few new additions to the group. One of them being MATTHEW! Woopeee! I love that boy.

Josh's idea. Just could not sit and watch the photoshoot...
haha

Oh wilf you are too much. :)

Sorry for the overload, i just had to include the snowball fight :)

I have never shot a shot gun before. I was a little intimidated. And the flying neon targets were not helping.
My dad is a marksman (pretty much, I think... really good!) So I felt pressure to just nail every flying pigeon. Or skeet. Whatever they call them. So Matt gets up and bam, bam, bam. Hit every flying thing. Geez. So now it's my turn. They tell me to shoot a bush first.... haha okay. So I am aiming and freaked out by the trigger because I am envisioning me flying backwards in pike position after I fire because of the kickback! So I close my right eye (wrong.) And fire! BAM. I screamed so loud after I shot.
I know that wasn't wise because I probably scared everyone, but the deed was done.
So here are some videos of the shot gun that I now really like. A lot. Now who's intimidated?
ha.

This is up at Brooke Richard Springer's cabin in Bear Lake for the weekend. What a riot! Okay and let me tell you about what an adorable, giving soon-to-be mother we have on our hands. An absolute doll. She prepared the yummiest food up there and kept us all round enough to roll but happy as can be.

We have been besties since we were tiny. Love her!

I know we could all get in an all out brawl about who has the cutest nieces and nephews. Aren't they the best?  Well, this is little Easton Egbert (hilarious son of Amy and Patty Egbert) in the bathtub, meeting himself for the 1st time on Aim's video camera. I am laughing just writing about it! So I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!... which is averaging about 30 times a day.
Oh, and please feel free to call me Sheesha! That is how EATON says it and I am taking it on.

10.30.2011

Come on in... the water's glorious! Matthew and i woke up from the best dream. We dreamt that we actually went on a 7 day cruise to the carribean. Eeeek- it was real. And such a riot! We went with a big ol' group of fun crazies (work friends), but we are also kinda saying' it was our 'happiest anniversary woohooo trip' because............ rippley's believe it or not.......... our One Year is this coming Saturday! Yyayaabooombbaambata
So here are some pics of the bahamas, st thomas, and st maartin. Matthew and i were thinking' 'pinch me' the whole time because the warm, turquoise water, smoothies on the beach, snorkeling, four wheeling st maartin, and goggles kind of make up our perfect world.
Matthew got hypnotized at one of the shows on the ship... he really is not a bad ballerina, or race car driver, or slow dancer. lol He had me rollin' laughing and everyone was chasin' him down the rest of the cruise to ask him questions about 'going under.' haha
We were strolling the streets in st maartin and needed a cool down so we went running off the rocks into the perfect water. Stick me in there and i will stay all day, bottoms up, goggles on, happy as a clam. A few minutes later a local woman came over and told us in a thick accent to 'be careful, sharks there yesterday.' Holy moly i was so outa there so fast. I came flying outa the water like i had turbo flippers. She then proceeded to tell us about the 10 ft sting ray there earlier too.
So to sum it all up... pretty magical. I love my bestie matthew, i love beaches, i love the two together like crazy.
