Come on in... the water's glorious! Matthew and i woke up from the best dream. We dreamt that we actually went on a 7 day cruise to the carribean. Eeeek- it was real. And such a riot! We went with a big ol' group of fun crazies (work friends), but we are also kinda saying' it was our 'happiest anniversary woohooo trip' because............ rippley's believe it or not.......... our One Year is this coming Saturday! Yyayaabooombbaambata
So here are some pics of the bahamas, st thomas, and st maartin. Matthew and i were thinking' 'pinch me' the whole time because the warm, turquoise water, smoothies on the beach, snorkeling, four wheeling st maartin, and goggles kind of make up our perfect world.
Matthew got hypnotized at one of the shows on the ship... he really is not a bad ballerina, or race car driver, or slow dancer. lol He had me rollin' laughing and everyone was chasin' him down the rest of the cruise to ask him questions about 'going under.' haha
We were strolling the streets in st maartin and needed a cool down so we went running off the rocks into the perfect water. Stick me in there and i will stay all day, bottoms up, goggles on, happy as a clam. A few minutes later a local woman came over and told us in a thick accent to 'be careful, sharks there yesterday.' Holy moly i was so outa there so fast. I came flying outa the water like i had turbo flippers. She then proceeded to tell us about the 10 ft sting ray there earlier too.
So to sum it all up... pretty magical. I love my bestie matthew, i love beaches, i love the two together like crazy.

Okkkkk the Aimster (sista) is at it again, here is another video. Seriously thee only way to truly remember an event! So this is Labour Day weekend with the biggest boaties ever. The Mechams and the Egberts. It was A RIOT! The water was hot and I was in heaven.
Easton, my god son, (amy and patty we gotta talk about arrangin that) started calling me SHEESHA. Oh I go weak in the knees when I hear him call me! (you too matty) I will drop and do anything that for that lil' Eeester. He was absolutely hysterical when we were eating lobster and knew the claws=rawr so he was rawring at me and when the waiters would pass he'd pull a fast one, turn, and RAWR! haha They would jump. And I would be rolling on the ground!
The flips you see on the wakeboard are my claim to fame. Ya that is Patrick, my new bro.
Amy is the pro surfer of the fam.
Any skiing you see is a Mecham. I have so much respect for that sport! It's so fast. And awkward to get up!
The piece of twizzler you see Mike catch, ya he was about 20 feet away from the boat doggie paddlin', super impressive.

NYC GIRLS TRIP BABAY
This lucky new yorker got Aim, the E-ster, and Smash to "boogie all the way to the core of the big apple". (as aim says :)) it was such a RIOOOT! Aim was our event planner and videographer. She is the master mind behind this operation. E was our mascot. Ash is just a super star. Soo, give Bobo (amy) a shout out for her mtv music video skills!! Proud you are ma sista!!

A little explainin'... we walked out of a shop in china town and this was the party goin' down. So we joined in the crazy! (Notice the Kardashian pic? We went to DASH! a sERIOUS highlight of the trip:D )
Yes, lil' mamma (bobo) went hangin' from the TALL rafters while we were at the pool for the first shot! Her head was prolly 5 feet off the ground. Wild child. :)
When you see that happy baby (our star shine) droppin' it, that was alll naturAL. He heard the jams and started krumpin'.
The pool scenes were taped with 2 life gaurds giving us a death stare down. Guess they didn't enjoy us beltin' that song acapella and dancing in the rain as much as we did.
Did you hear Mr. East say 'uh oh' on the tattoo part? haha And I love that when Aim is dancin', he gets real close and leans his head back to watch his mamma. He has got her love for groovin!
East is such an entertainer! When we would get laughin', he would belt this PeeWee Herman, hearty laugh, and that would get us rolllling. ha
Baby E was the happiest little thing. He is our little miracle. I am just beyond in love with that heavenly package!!

We just got our wedding video back, Woopee! Nathan Pickett is absolutely incredible and we couldn't be happier.  We are so lucky we can relive our favorite day! Matthew, as you can tell, is the most caring and loving guy in the world. He is ssooo slow to frustration and quick to laugh. :D I married my best friend, first and last kiss, and first and last love!

To say the least, I have found a few odd n' end jobs out here in New York, and this is one of them! Let me introduce... Gabriella. :) :) I watch her big bro, Elgen, and the littlest mamma is Lina. ( El was at school, Lina was napping) when I was lucky enough to get a makeover. Sticky blue glitter eyeshadow that had to be reapplied as often as possible. And of coarse that even meant to take breaks at the pool to reapply.

When I started with this family Gabriella would call me Mandy ( ? ) and then random other names hoping to get it right. So picture this with all the tude' in the world. And with the thick accent of a Long Islander, I will type it just how it sounds. "Mee-andy...Jen... (huff and puff)... hEy!!.(grunt)..I kee-ant see ya name!"  haha she couldn't think of it so, 'I can't say ya name' would come out remixed. I couldn't help but just let her keep trying cause' it would get me laughing so hard! Every 2 minutes she would huff and puff that sentence. 

Mmm. Hmmm. (snap)

This is my not-so-sleeping beauty! Lina Bean :) I so love these kids, they are remarkable because of their parents. They are cuddle bugs! Nothing makes you feel so good as when you pick up one of these girls and their head drops right to your shoulder. Oooo it's to die for!

Yay! blog #1 from long island! This has been everything that i hoped it would be.. an adventure with my Dear. It's one a those weird things you are not sure if it's only been a day.. but I would totally believe you if you told me it has been a year.ha Loving it!
So.. a quick recap for you! (and bless my heart this will be a recap for me as well...my precious memory)
Matthew and I flew in on a red eye flight. I know that you can perfectly imagine us; perky as energizer bunnies, most excited couple you ever saw. Arms outstretched, head looking to the sky, slow motion twirling the second I walked off the plane. Within minutes I was wearing an  'I <3 NY'  t-shirt. And all of this celebration of a new world... through... 'tired eyes'. ha. My infamous 'tired eyes' and 'morning face.' This is where my eyes shrink down to half their normal size, so I am peering through slits, and my lips double their normal size.... Welcome to New York City Tess...
Nah... it didn't quite happen like that. hahaha But those were my feelings about it. And I am still ecstatic to be here!! The Lord really let an outpouring of blessings come to Matthew and I to get us out here, and I still feel em' coming. Just can't help but smile and feel overwhelmed with gratitude!!
